This framework aims to develop knowledge and skills relating to the Children and Young People’s Workforce (i.e. those working with children aged 0-19, primarily within Early Learning and Childcare; Children’s Social Care; Learning Development & Support Services). This framework is suitable for those looking to join the Children and Young People’s Workforce and also those already working in the sector. The framework supports the development of a highly qualified, well-skilled workforce within the Children and Young People’s sector, and ensures that children and young people accessing services in England gain the best possible care and support.

Entry Requirements:

You should be at least 16 years old. We do not set any other entry requirements but colleges or training providers may have their own guidelines.
