Childcare / STL

If you are 16-18 the Apprenticeship must have at least a 12 month duration. If you are 19+ there is the option to complete the Apprenticeship quicker, but not before 6 months from the start of your training.

Yes, each Apprenticeship carries different UCAS points.

Yes, Apprenticeships are a recognised route into University.

Yes, with agreement from Heathercroft Training Academy.

Yes, if you are aged between 16-18 your Apprenticeship is free and for those learners aged over 19 they will require a contribution from their employers towards their training.

No.

Management / HSC

No all the training takes place in the workplace the only occasion you might be asked to attend the centre is if you require extra support with your Functional Skills Training.

A tutor will be in touch to make an appointment to sign you into the course. This meeting takes approximately 1 ½ – 2 hours.

You receive your certificates once all of the components of the Apprenticeship have been completed.

Yes, after the External Verifier for your Apprenticeship has agreed and released your portfolio.

Heathercroft Training Academy offer Intermediate, Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships.

Traineeships

3-6 months.

Yes.

The course is 30 hours per week.

No, as the Traineeship course is already being funded by the Government.

No, but Heathercroft would encourage you to do so, or move into a job or a different course.
